I asked our young adult group at Glen Haven to answer 2 questions. One, what are some changes you’d like to make in your life during 2023? Second, what is a scripture passage that you could use as encouragement to keep fighting for that change when it gets tough? Here are the responses.
- To stop thinking something is wrong with me because I don’t think or act like everyone else.
1 Corinthians 15:10
But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me. - Being more consistent – Being patient and willing
Galatians 6:9
Let’s not become discouraged in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not become weary.

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and sustain me with a willing spirit - Relying more on God instead of just myself

Hebrews 12:1-3

Matthew 7:1-3
